Winning photo on the cover of the phone directory
Jefferson Telecom has launched a photo contest for the 2014-2015 telephone directory front cover. The winner of the chosen photo will win $100 in Greene County Chamber checks.
Jefferson Telecom customers are invited to showcase their photographic talents and submit images of the natural beauty and points of interest that describe Jefferson and Greene County. Photos should represent Jefferson and/or Greene County and be different from previous telephone directory covers. Images could include woods, farms, flowers, wildlife, rivers, streams, or points of local interest.
Rules and information for the contest are as follows: Limit of three entries per household (amateurs only); must be a Jefferson Telecom customer; include where the photo was taken and a short description; photos should represent Jefferson and/or Greene County; photos must be in color and have been taken in the last three years; photos will not be returned; Jefferson Telecom employees and immediate family are not eligible.
Entry deadline is noon, July 25, 2014. All entries can be dropped off at Jefferson Telecom or mailed to: Jefferson Telecom “Photo Contest,” PO Box 269, Jefferson, IA 50129. Submissions may be made online to photocontest@netins.net (online submissions must be 300 dpi in a JPEG format.) All entries will be posted on the Jefferson Telecom Facebook page (click here) and the Jefferson Telecom website (click here) for viewing purposes.
